The Jacket Journal is published by members of the student publications class of Mount Vernon High School, 300 Yellow Jacket Drive, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050. It is, by policy and practice, an open forum for student expression. The opinions expressed in stories are not necessarily those of the high school administration, staff, or the Mount Vernon City School Board; however, they are in some way expressed by the students themselves, and therefore we at Jacket Journal believe that it needs to be covered in some form of our wide array of multimedia capabilities.
