Jacket wrestlers honor on one of their own Photo by Jack Craigo

Nate Jacklin was a member of the Mount Vernon Wrestling program throughout his high school. He passed away to cancer earlier this year. The Jacket squad took time to honor his legacy before the Olentangy Berlin match on Thursday. Nate graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1995. He attended Columbia University and was a member of their wrestling team throughout all four years of college, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy in 2000.

Jacklin continued with his love for wrestling and teaching for 22 years. As a wrestling community we honor Nate Jacklin, and as a Jacket Community we honor your dedication.

A scholarship has been created to honor Nate. If you would like to donate, please contact a member of the wrestling team.
