Senior Kennedi Endsley became a statistic Wednesday night when she signed with Otterbein to play softball at the collegiate level.

“There are over 750,000 high school athletes and only 3% of those athletes go onto play at the collegiate level,” said Justin Sanford, Athletic Director.

The signing was something Endsley has been working for since her freshman year but her success has not just been on the softball field.

Endsley not only takes on 4 am workouts but she is taking a full class schedule at Central Ohio Technical College.

“I want to thank my parents, my travel coaches, but also my teammates,” said Endsley.

Playing at the collegiate level not only takes softball skills on the field and in the classroom but it also requires you to be a leader and she is that for us, a leader.  Head coach Ryan Pentz stressed this as he was speaking about Kennedi.
