The Jacket Journal is published by the members of the student publication class of Mount Vernon High School. It is by policy and practice an open forum for student expression. The opinion pages are not necessarily those of the high school administration, staff, or Mount Vernon City School district. Letters to the editor are acceptable. However, we reserve the right to edit the letters without changing their content. Last acceptance date for the letters is one week before the deadline.
