Jacket Journal Editor Natalie Boggs sat down with Mount Vernon Alumni Bryant Shellenbarger to create a video for the DREAM project. The DREAM Program was created by the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) and the Ohio Task Force Commanders Association (OTFCA).
From the DREAM website – “Drug Resilience Education Awareness Mentorship (DREAM) is a kindergarten through twelfth grade video series that focuses on the National Health Education Standards, the Ohio Department of Education’s Health (ORC 33.1360) and Social and Emotional Learning requirements, developing resiliency skills, decision making skills and role-playing opportunities.”
Jacket Journal photographer Katilyn Dapprich was able to take photographs of the interview. The Ohio Department of Public Safety will produce and distribute the video when completed. We will make sure the video is shared with all of our social media. In addition, Natalie and Kaitlyn are working on a behind the scenes article which will appear in the next couple of weeks.
